The SD 2100v2 uses Minelab's exclusive technology known as Multi Period Sensing (MPS) plus five other outstanding features. This enables the SD 2100v2 to minimize the effects of mineralization, to penetrate deeper, and to provide you with an interference free signal. This has effectively overcome the problem of ground noise and it only produces a signal on actual metal targets such as a gold nugget.

End Caps: These protect the control knobs from any damage and also prevent the knob settings from being knocked out of position while detecting.
